To raise awareness and reduce stigma around mental health and addiction.
To provide a platform for people with lived experience to share their stories and insights.
To promote evidence and abstinence-based approaches to prevention, treatment, and recovery.
To support organizations that are working to eliminate barriers to accessing mental health and addiction services.
To inspire and empower attendees to take action in their own communities.
A world where everyone has access to effective mental health and addiction support, and where open and honest conversations about these issues are the norm.
Empower 2 Recover is a mental health and recovery conference that seeks to create a safe and inclusive space for people to learn, connect, and take action. Through our events and initiatives, we aim to reduce stigma and promote abstinence-based approaches to mental health and addiction. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities to take action toward building a more compassionate and supportive society.
Compassion: We believe that everyone deserves empathy and support, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Inclusivity: We strive to create a welcoming and accessible environment for people of all races, genders, ages, abilities, and identities.
Collaboration: We believe that working together with others is essential to achieving our goals.
Evidence and abstinence-based: We are committed to using the latest research and best practices and lived experience to inform our programming.
Action-oriented: We aim to inspire attendees to take action in their own communities to promote mental health and addiction recovery.
